⚠️Possibly as early at August 1: As announced at the July University City Community Association (UCCA) meeting, construction at the intersection of Genesee and Governor is expected to begin in August. Because of the vehicle traffic and the configuration of this intersection, it is expected that all construction will be at night. The construction team does not anticipate any intersection closures during the day.
- Genesee / Governor intersection work anticipated start August 2023
- Work hours from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.; intersecton open in daytime
- Night work due to lower traffic volumes at night
- Traffic control includes flaggers and modifications to signal timing
