The University Community Library, 4155 Governor Drive, will host a Council District 6 Trash Talk Open House on Tuesday, November 12, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
When the Trash Study began in August, residents requested more frequent recycling services and fee-free replacement of broken trash bins. Now the city is hosting a University City open house to gather additional feedback on the city’s trash collection services.
The open house will allow residents to provide feedback while also comparing trash and recycling services in nearby cities. Learn how the City of San Diego will review the trash and recycling collection services it provides and potential new customer fees. The open house will also provide information about Measure B, which allows a cost-recovery fee for single family homes and small residential complexes that currently do not pay for trash services.
