Neighbors, I’m not asking if you would use it; but do you see a need? Do you think we need public transit service on Governor between 805 and Genesee?
I live in the 55+ apartment community on Kantor and Gullstrand streets south of Governor and I see a huge need for public transit. Some of my neighbors walk to Genesee to catch the bus; others ‘drive’ their electric wheel chairs to get to Genesee and beyond; still others drive cars well into their 80s and 90s because they feel they have no alternative.
If you see a need for public transit, please enter your suggestion for bus service along Governor, and any other mobility ideas you have, using the UC Mobility Ideas site http://ucmobilityideas.com/ Deadline is February 19.
Note: The UC Mobility Ideas site was developed in conjunction with the ‘traffic study’ commissioned as part of the proposal to amend the community plan. Original ‘traffic study’ documents can be viewed at UCCA’a University City News https://www.universitycitynews.org/2016/01/29/regents-and-genesee-community-plan-amendment-traffic-study/
