2016 January Membership ThermometerThanks and congratulations, UCCA members. As of mid January, 514 of you have already joined or renewed your membership for 2016. Those 514 individuals represent 373 households, primarily located in South University City.

There are so many good reasons for South University City residents and businesses to consider joining UCCA, particularly in 2016.

UCCA looks forward to many community-wide opportunities now and in the future and we need not only your financial assistance, but your valued opinion and ideas on how to maintain and improve the quality of life in our wonderful community.

We welcome your support and invite you to become an active volunteer in making good things happen in University City… “where we’re more than just a neighborhood.”

Some of the many projects, events and organizations that UCCA supports include local school fundraising, Imagine UC 2020, National Night Out at the Food Trucks, Median Beautification, Library Friends, Neighborhood Watch, Centurion Foundation, UC Spirit Run, EdUCate! Oktoberfest, Buy Local, Street Banners, Taste of the Triangle, UCHS Grad Nite, UCHS Music Boosters, UCHS Diving and Swim Teams, Summer Concert, UC Celebration, Holiday Tree and Menorah Lighting, monthly community meetings, updated website and monthly newsletter.

The 2016 membership drive began October 2015. If you have not had a chance to renew your membership for 2016, please do so at Join UCCA Today!

Thank you again; Barry Bernstein, UCCA President
