Construction Alert! Library on Governor access limited on Wed & Thu, Oct 14 & 15, due to repaving

From University Community Branch Library Manager Melissa Martin: The access road to the University Community Library, 4155 Governor Drive, from Governor Drive next to Chase Bank, is going to be closed for repaving on Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15. Those wishing to drop off their ballot at the Community Library on Wednesday or Thursday from the west should continue east on Governor Dr., turn right (south) on Agee St. and turn right into the alley behind Carl’s Jr. restaurant. If traveling from the east, turn left (south) at Agee St. and then turn right into the alley behind Carl’s Jr. restaurant. The ballot drop-off is temporarily located in the northeast corner of the parking lot by the book drop.

All 36 San Diego Public Library locations serve as official Mail Ballot Drop-Off location for the 2020 Presidential General Election from Tuesday, October 6th through Tuesday, November 3rd. Your signed, sealed and dated voted mail ballot envelope can be dropped off during these hours:

  • Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • On Election Day, Tuesday November 3rd, hours for dropping off voted mail ballots will be 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
