From June Kubli: Please join us Sunday, August 4, from 3 to 6 PM at Standley Park, in the Swanson Pool parking lot, 3585 Governor Drive, as we load up our truck with school supplies for the Children and Youth in Transition, a department in the San Diego Unified School District. Serving over 1,100 children, they welcome backpacks, full or empty, paper supplies, pens, pencils, drawing materials, appropriate electronics and even new socks and other clothing to start the new school year. Come by and add your contribution to the truck. You’ll want to stay for the Summer Concert with the Electric Waste Band. Warm up and sound check begins at 4:30; concert begins at 5 PM. Thank you in advance for working with your local Coldwell Banker Team of Agents to help San Diego children.
