Field of Dreams to cap UC Little League Season

Field of Dreams Ghost FieldCome join University City Little League for the annual Closing Day celebrations on Saturday, June 4.

Come celebrate the end of the season with fun events, including the Home Run Derby, bouncers for the kids, 50-50 raffle, special silent auction baskets and the snack bar’s famous street tacos. The night ends with a special showing of Field of Dreams in the outfield!

10:00 — Home Run Derby at Fort Field. For Intermediate & Juniors and adults
2:00 on — Wristbands for sale, Silent Auction Bidding, Vendor Booths Open
2:00-7:00 — Bouncers open, $10 to jump all day ($5 for additional siblings).
2:30 — Awards Ceremony – Challenger Team Trophies, Minors Division 1st and 2nd place, TOC team recognition and Hit-a-thon winners
2:00-4:30 — 50-50 Raffle
2:00-5:00 — Used equipment donation
4:30 — Silent Auction Baskets close, Board Election ends
5:00 — Intermediate Division TOC Game at Fort Field
8:00 — “Field of Dreams” will start (snack bar will be open throughout the movie)

Don’t forget to vote! Our annual election of the Board of Directors is held every year on Closing Day. Interested in joining the Board or want to nominate someone? Email Dusty Reisch, Admin VP, at vp@ucll.org.

While you are cleaning out your baseball gear for the season, please put aside and bring items you’d like to exchange during closing ceremonies to our table near the snack bar. Exchanged gear can include bats, helmets, baseball bags, baseballs, batting gloves, gloves, gently worn pants, uniforms, and hats etc. All remaining equipment/gear will be donated to Kids Gear for Baseball; details at http://media.wix.com/ugd/908484_300d8939c69a4347afd0eb2846a37677.pdf.
