May 2025 University City News print newsletter PDF is now online; delivery begins this weekend

The May 2025 University City News, published by the volunteers of University City Community Association (UCCA), is now available to download and share. Print copies are expected to be available for pickup at public spaces on Governor Drive (Library, UC Laundromat, Recreation Center, Cal Coast Credit Union) on Friday afternoon. UCCA’s delivery volunteers will begin distribution this weekend.

This month’s front-page article features SD Fire Chief Robert Logan and Fire Marshal Tony Tosca. Inside features include Remembering Harry Mathis; State of the County Address; Trash Collection Fees; Spring Egg Hunts in Pictures; Mobility Plan; UCLL Hit-A-Thon; UC People: Naomi McLean; UCHS Student Banners; Garden Club; MCAS Miramar; Recreation Centers and Libraries; UC Celebration; Lithium-Ion Battery and Fire Safety; Community Calendar with upcoming events and meet-ups; and so much more.
