From Pure Water San Diego: To limit traffic impacts and prioritize public safety, crews will complete pipeline installations on Genesee Avenue between Governor Drive and south of Decoro Street before beginning work in and around the intersection of Nobel Drive and Genesee Avenue.
- Based on the current phasing and progress, the contractor will be working on Genesee Avenue from Governor Drive and south of Decoro Street through April 2025, with plans to move into the Nobel Drive and Genesee Avenue intersection in May 2025.
- Genesee Avenue between Governor Drive and Decoro Street will be opened to two lanes of traffic in each direction before traffic control is set up in the Nobel Drive and Genesee Avenue intersection.
- The multi-stage approach previously communicated will be replaced with a plan to complete all work in and around the intersection in a single stage.
Additional information and a new intersection map will be provided prior to work in the Nobel Drive and Genesee Avenue intersection.
