Hello Neighbor! Hello University City! We hope your New Year is off to a healthy and safe start. With all the concern about wildfire in our area, we have several updates we want to share today including Understanding the City’s Code Enforcement and How to Prepare for an Emergency and Stay Informed. We also want to remind you that Fire Safe Council, the UCPG Planning Group, our own UCCA Community Association and several other community organizations meet this month. These are public meetings and events and all community members are welcome to attend.

- Monday, January 13: Fire Safe Council will meet via Zoom. Contact FSC president Lou Rodolico for details: lourodolico@yahoo.com
- Tuesday, January 14: UCPG (planning group) will meet in a hybrid format (in person with Zoom option) at 6 PM. Speacial guests include CO Eric Herrmann from MCAS Miramar and representatives of UC San Diego. This is a public meeting and all are welcome. - Tuesday, January 21: UCCA (community association) meets in-person on Tuesday, January 21, at the University Community Library, 4155 Governor Drive. Meet & greet at 5: 30 PM; meeting called to order at 6:00 PM. This is a public meeting and all are welcome.
