From Pure Water San Diego July 2024: Pure Water Construction Continues on Nobel Drive for the Morena Northern Pipelines and Tunnels Project.
In early July, construction crews will start a new phase of construction in the westbound lanes of Nobel Drive between Via Las Rambles and Lombard Place. This work is part of the City of San Diego Morena Northern Pipelines and Tunnels project in University City. After setting up new traffic control, crews will continue installing one 48-inch wastewater pipeline and one 30-inch brine pipeline. Working hours for this segment will be from Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and occasionally on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This work will continue through Summer 2024. The City and project team are committed to completing construction as efficiently as possible with safety as our highest priority, and the community’s patience and coordination are appreciated.
