UCCA Elects New President and Executive Team

December Updates:


At its November community meeting, the members of University City Community Association (UCCA) unanimously elected a new slate of officers. The new officers officially assume their new roles on December 1, 2023.

  • Jemma Samala, who had been serving as treasurer, was elected president, succeeding outgoing Diane Ahern.
  • Jim Beshears, who had been serving as secretary, was elected vice president, succeeding outgoing Mack Langston.
  • Phil Fowler, a retired banker and new to the UCCA board, was elected treasurer, succeeding Jemma Samala.
  • Katie Rodolico, who serves on the Community Plan Update subcommittee, was elected secretary, succeeding Jim Beshears.

UCCA thanks and congratulates the UCCA members who have taken on organizational leadership roles.
