From Mira Mesa Town Council: The City’s Traffic Division has already restriped Gold Coast Drive in Mira Mesa with bike lanes they call “edge lanes”. These edge lanes are intended for bicycles, leaving a single central two-way traffic lane for cars. Autos are allowed to go into the “edge lanes” as needed.

Everett Hauser, from the City of San Diego Transportation Division, will attend the April 4, 2022, Mira Mesa Town Council meeting to explain the “edge lanes” street lining design and answer questions about it. The public is welcome and pre-registration is required. Information at https://www.miramesatowncouncil.org/april-4-2022-mmtc-meeting/
