March 2022: UCPG Planning Group issues Notice of Elections and Candidate Statements; Ballot Drop Off Locations Available until March 7; In-Person voting only on March 8

From information provided by University Community Planning Group (UCPG) Chair Chris Nielsen: The University Community Planning Group (UCPG) will hold its annual election for UCPG Board Members on March 8, 2022. In-person voting is available on March 8, 2022 from 5PM to 8PM outside the west entrance of the Alexandria building at 10300 Campus Point Drive.

For this year’s election, UCPG is pleased to offer early drop off ballot boxes at the two University City public libraries during normal library business hours. All UCPG members are encouraged to take advantage of this service to cast your vote.

Early ballot drop off at the University City libraries is available during normal library business hours until 7 PM on Monday, March 7, 2022. Voters must print and complete and turn in their ballot as described in the Notice of Elections available on the City site at https://www.sandiego.gov/sites/default/files/2022_ucpg_notice_of_elections.pdf

This year there are four residential and five business seats up for election; terms begin April 12, 2022. Note: there is a sixth business seat, however there is no candidate for that seat at the current time.
