Results are IN! Check out the results of the Community Plan Update Survey “Choose Your Future”; next meeting Feb 15 at 6 PM. Information collected from the Online Engagement Platform survey will be presented to the Community Plan Update Subcommittee (UCPUS) on February 15, 2022.

  • ​February 15, 2022 – University CPU Subcommittee Meeting – 6:00 to 8:00pm. The University CPU project team will present the results of the Online Engagement Platform, Choose Your Future! and the proposed land use scenarios.
  • March 8, 2022 – UCPG Planning Group Meeting – 6:00 to 8:00pm.
  • March 9, 2022 – UCCA Community Association Meeting – 6:00 to 8:00pm.
  • March 10, 2022 – Planning Commission Workshop – 9:00am. The University CPU project team will present to Planning Commission on the Status of the Community Plan Update, the results of the Online Engagement Platform, Choose Your Future!, and the proposed land use scenarios.
  • ​March 15, 2022 – University CPU Subcommittee Meeting – 6:00 to 8:00pm. The University CPU Subcommittee will discuss the proposed land use scenarios, provide feedback, and vote to recommend a preferred and alternative land use scenario.
  • ​March 22, 2022 – Special Meeting of the University Community Planning Group – 6:00pm. The University CPU project team will present the status of the CPU and the proposed land use scenarios. The UCPG will vote for a preferred and alternative land use scenario for further analysis.

From Katie Witherspoon, Community Plan Update Project Manager: Throughout the months of September, October, and November 2021, the University Community Plan Update project team conducted extensive community outreach and engagement in coordination with the launch of the interactive, online engagement platform, Choose Your Future! From October 1st, 2021 to November 8th, 2021, this non-scientific, online survey was live on the Plan University project website (www.PlanUniversity.org) and provided an opportunity for stakeholders to select options for land uses in five focus areas of the University Community, as identified through the Community Plan Update (CPU) process.

Overview of Next Steps: Information collected from the Online Engagement Platform survey will be presented to the Community Plan Update Subcommittee (UCPUS) on February 15, 2022. Register for the February 15, 6 PM Zoom meeting at https://www.planuniversity.org/meetings

Then the project team will hold a Planning Commission workshop on the status of the project and the proposed land use scenarios.
