Our holiday lighting tradition returns to University City at Standley Park on Friday, December 10, 2021. This year’s dinner features a boxed spaghetti dinner from Lorna’s at 5:15 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the Standley Recreation Center for $8 for adults and $5 for children.
Recreation Center staff will host a crafts room where kids can make holiday ornaments to take home..
The Holiday Celebration with musical program, Christmas Tree and Menorah lighting begins at 6:30 PM. Musical guest include the Standley MS Marching Band, Key of She, the UCHS Chorale, Tom Ventimiglia, and other surprise performances. After the mucial program, guests can enjoy cookies and hot chocolate.
We’re expecting a visit from the SDFD firefighers and Marine Corps Reserves who will be collecting new, unwrapped “Toys for Tots”.
Mark you calendar today. Join your neighbors and friends at Standley Park for this special University City holiday tradition. It’s sure to be a night to remember.
