Welcome to University City! From Facebook @SDFDofficial: Station 50 at 7177 Shoreline Dr, San Diego, CA 92122 will serve University City and surrounding communities. It’s three levels, has ten dorm rooms, a gym, locker room, kitchen, outdoor eating area, workshop and a training classroom (to name just a few amenities). Station 50 totals about 14,000 square feet.
This morning the crew performed the traditional “push-in” of the engine and went into service for the first time ever. We regret that the pandemic prevents us from having an open house at this time since City facilities are closed to the public. But we will schedule an event in the future!
The video gives you a glimpse inside this beautiful facility. In the meantime, thanks to all the City employees and the contractor who made this project a reality.
