Now open! San Diego outdoor playgrounds and 12 public libraries

As of Saturday, October 3, 2020, outdoor park playgrounds and some public libraries in San Diego are open with restrictions.

Library News: Twelve San Diego Public Library locations are now open for limited In-Person Services. For everyone’s safety, browsing is not allowed at this time. Visiting guidelines include temperature screened prior to entering; face covering over mouth and nose at all times; safe social distancing and stay 6 feet apart from library patrons and staff; and no food or drink allowed. Playground News: Park playgrounds are now open with restrictions issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). Rules include face masks over the mouth and nose are required for everyone 2 years of age or older with caregiver supervision at all times to ensure face mask use; maintain a physical distance of 6 feet; no eating or drinking in playground; wash or sanitize hands before and after using the playground.
