The League of Women Voters (LWV) has long been known for moderating great discussions between candidates. Unfortunately, the pandemic has put a pause on in-person events. One bright spot: it’s easier than ever to attend virtual League of Women Voters events such as the Candidate Forums listed here:
- US Congressional District 52 – Thursday, September 3, 7pm – 8pm. General election candidates are Scott Peters (Incumbent) (Democratic Party) and Jim DeBello (Republican Party)
- San Diego City Council District 1 – Wednesday, September 16, 7:30pm – 8:30pm (co-sponsor Clairemont Town Council)
- SD City Council District 1 – Wednesday, October 14, 7:00pm – 8:30pm (co-sponsor University City Community Association)
- SD Mayor – Thursday, October 15, 4pm – 5pm
- City Attorney and US Congress – Monday, October 19, 6pm – 8pm
