The League of Women Voters (LWV) has long been known for moderating great discussions between candidates. Unfortunately, the pandemic has put a pause on their in-person events. One bright spot: it’s easier than ever to attend virtual LWV events, including candidate forums. Go to our League calendar to find and register for any of the online events; available at https://my.lwv.org/california/san-diego/google-calendar-0
The next LWV candidate forum is Thursday, August 6 (hosted by Clairemont Town Council) and features candidates for State Assembly Districts 77 & 78. On August 13, the League will moderate the discussion between District 2 County Supervisor candidates and the next day, August 14, is with San Diego Unified School Board candidates. You can also find past candidate forums on the LWV YouTube channel along with other helpful videos; available at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsQo2-Nc1Xxosdir28UNHbw
