Voigt Drive at UC San Diego to Close Until Fall 2021 for Trolley-Related Construction

Share

Beginning Monday, April 20, 2020, and continuing through fall 2021, a section of Voigt Drive will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians for crews to continue work on the Voigt Drive Improvements project. The closure will be in effect between parking lot P701 and Campus Point Drive. Typical work hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, though occasional nighttime and weekend work may be required.

Access to medical facilities will be maintained, though alternate routes may be required. Traffic controls will be in place including temporary traffic signals, temporary wayfinding and detour signage, and roadway and sidewalk reconfigurations.

The Voigt Drive Improvements project will realign Voigt Drive and Campus Point Drive permanently to provide direct access to the future Voigt Drive Trolley Station and to improve traffic flow in the area.
