Where to get the April 2020 University City News? From UCCA President Barry Bernstein, a message to the University City Community: On behalf of the UCCA Board, I want to wish you and yours good health and safety during these challenging times. This unprecedented health concern we are all now facing has changed our lives in such a short time; something unimaginable just a few weeks ago.  If we all do our part and follow the published guidelines, we will be helping our front-line medical teams, and saving lives. Together as one we can overcome this pandemic.

University City Community Associatioon (UCCA), the volunteer organization which produces University City News, has made a decision to publish its April newsletter online. There will be no home delivery. We do not want our newsletter delivery volunteers to put their health at risk.  I know you will understand and appreciate this decision.  You will be able to download/view our newsletter when available by visiting the newsletter archives page at  https://www.universitycitynews.org/ucca-newsletter-archives/

This information will also be made available on NextDoor, Twitter and on Facebook. Please note the links listed below.

UCCA will be sending out an E-blast next Friday with pertinent community information and details regarding newsletter distribution.  Limited hard copies will be available for pickup at various outdoor University City locations (to be determined), on the weekends of April 4-5 and April 11-12 (one per family).

Please help us by sharing this information with others via your email lists and your social media accounts so that they may know our April online newsletter distribution plan.  We appreciate your assistance in this process.

A special “shout-out” to our newsletter advertisers for their understanding of this needed change in publishing.

Let’s all pull together, help one another, and look forward to a resumption of what we knew as “normal”. Remain diligent and vigilant until that time comes.  Remember, University City is “more than just a neighborhood”.

The volunteers at University City Community Association have been producing a monthly newsletter since May 2002; and we’re doing everything we can to continue the legacy of University City News. Take a look at https://www.universitycitynews.org/ucca-newsletter-archives/
