Opening Day 2020 with UC Little League by Ryan Preston: Baseball season is around the corner and UC Little League is happy to announce our opening day festivities on Saturday, February 29, 2020, starting at 9:00 AM. We are very excited this season because we have the most amount of players in the T-Ball and MAPS division in over a decade. This year we are taking a note from some of our other fun UC events like the 4th of July and Oktoberfest by making our opening day event for the whole community, not just the players. This year we will have a rock wall, jumpers, fastest pitch in the west, a band playing baseball tunes and best of all a brand new SLUSHY machine for the snack bar. We will be serving up great food all day including carne asada tacos, nachos and other yummy food/snacks.

We want this event to become another staple in the community where people of all ages, with or without kids to come up and partake in this event that has been a part of the University City community for decades. So please come up to the baseball fields next to the Standley Swanson Pool, 3585 Governor Dr, 92122, bring your family and check out all the fun stuff going on in UC Little League. We hope to see you there! For more information, visit our website at UCLL.org
