Giving Thanks in University City

Share

What are you thankful for, University City? At University City Community Association, we give thanks to the many UCCA members who, through their UCCA membership dues, help support and fund many events and projects in University City such as the decorative street banners and utility boxes, 4th of July Celebration, Summer Concerts, Oktoberfest, Holiday Celebration,  and monthly community meetings, just to name a few.

We thank our newsletter advertisers without whom we would not be able to publish our monthly print newsletter. We’re also thankful for all the volunteers who give tirelessly to our community through various volunteer organizations such as the Parks Council, Community Foundation, EdUCate, PTAs, UC Cluster, Planning Group, Community Plan Update Subcommittee, Citizens Advocating Safe Aviation, and UCCA’s own University City News newsletter, various special committees, newsletter delivery and neighborhood watch volunteers. Thank you for making University City more than just a neighborhood.

If you’re like those of us who volunteer with University City Community Association, you’re thankful that we have a community association that provides a forum where the interests of the residents may be expressed and contributions made to the protection of life and property in the community.

At UCCA, we think that it is important to take time out and remember all of the things that we are thankful for. How about you? This month, please take some time to make your own list of the things for which you are thankful.
