Looking at the week ahead, fire weather will be the main concern. Dry offshore winds Sunday through Tuesday will bring elevated fire weather conditions. It will be very warm Tuesday. After a break on Wednesday, we’re on tap for another round of potentially stronger Santa Ana winds late week.

Weak Santa Ana winds are predicted Sunday through Tuesday, peaking Sunday evening and Monday morning. Well above average temperatures most of the week with a brief reprieve on Wednesday. Another round of Santa Ana winds is like late week. For more information, visit the National Weather Service San Diego office at https://www.weather.gov/sgx/#. And from the San Diego Fire Rescue Department: We encourage San Diegans to also be prepared by creating and practicing an emergency plan.
