Registration is now open for the 35th Annual Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 21, 2019. And you don’t have to go coastal to help out. In University City, Nobel Park is a cleanup site. Meetup is at Nobel Recreation Center, Nobel at Judicial. Nobel Park is one of over 100 sites throughout San Diego County. At last year’s efforts, with a turnout of 6,808 people at 106 coastal and inland cleanup sites, volunteers successfully removed 138,499 pounds of litter from San Diego County. Volunteers channeled their appreciation for San Diego’s environment into action to protect it. Join friends and neighbors this year and be a part of this international event.
