The first Tuesday of August is nationally recognized as National Night Out. All over the country, and in University City, National Night Out helps to cement relationships between communities and law enforcement by joining together to promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity.
Neighborhood Watch captains can take the lead by encouraging neighbors to come outside to have a block party with potluck, appetizers, or desserts. What a great way to get to know your neighbors.
