Council President Pro Tem Barbara Bry to Host First Annual State of the District Address at University City High School.

Who: Council President Pro Tem Barbara Bry; Steven Gallagher, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Marine Sciences, Scripps Institution of Oceanography; UC High School student volunteers; Girl Scouts; and District 1 community residents.

What: Council President Pro Tem Barbara Bry will reflect on the accomplishments of her first year in office and preview her district and citywide priorities for 2018 and beyond. Some of these priorities include police recruitment and retention, regulating short-term rentals, advancing a community choice energy program, combating workplace sexual harassment, moving forward on the proposed fire station at UCSD, and creating a more inclusive innovation economy.
