UCHS thanks UCCA for donation to support aquatics program

From Mitchell Booz, UCHS Boys Water Polo Parent Committee:

I wanted to reach out and send a big “THANK YOU” to UCCA board and UCCA members.

Last summer, the UCCA was very gracious in providing an endowment for UC High School aquatics to apply towards the purchase of swim parkas. These parkas are very sturdy and will serve UC student athletes involved in aquatics for many seasons to come.

I have included some photos from recent UCHS CIF Boys Water Polo games as well as some Girls Water Polo Players who look forward to using them this coming season. They will also be put to good use by varsity swim athletes.

Please pass along our sincere gratitude and, if possible, share the enclosed images as evidence of UCCA’s impact on the community. This gift, in addition to a recent financial pledge by your organization towards the water polo program supports high-level, division I aquatics for our committed student athletes.

Thank you very much!

Editor’s note: The swim parkas are shared by all the aquatics teams as is other team equipment. For more information, visit https://www.sandiegounified.org/schools/university-city
