Hello Team,
September is National Disaster Awareness Month. Those of you who were unable to make it to the August meeting last month really missed out!
We went over equipment, we conducted search and rescue drills and had a representative from the Red Cross teach us compression only CPR. Hope you can make it next time!
For the next few months, we will be meeting at the clubhouse at 3883 April Court, off Genesee, 2 streets south of Governor (not at the University Community Library).
Our next meeting will Tuesday, September 12th, at 6:30 PM.
I will be printing up a lot of disaster preparedness information for you and to share with your neighborhoods.
We really have to spread the word this month. In light of the unexpected disaster in Texas, I think people will be more receptive and we can really make a difference!
