Eagle Scout Projects Benefit UCLL

A big thank you to Brandon Sutton and Nick Van Daelen from UC Boy Scout Troop 271 for completing their Eagle Scout projects to  benefit UC Little League. Brandon’s project, completed mid- August, replaced the scoreboard that blew over from rot and age  before last season. He worked diligently to complete the process which proved difficult with city regulations. Stop by McElroy for a game to see the new board in action! Nick Van Daelen’s Eagle Scout Project, completed in late July, replaced the helmet boxes at all the UCLL fields – McElroy, Fort, and Jim Carl Fields. The new design, with painted UCLL logos, are sturdy boxes that were much needed and will be enjoyed by UCLL players and coaches. Thank you, boys, for your hard work to benefit the UC little leaguers.
