Where the West is Fun at the 2017 San Diego County Fair features a stampede of fun, food and entertainment this year at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
The Western theme is featured throughout the Fair, focusing on the culture of the region from the 1880s and merging it with pop culture elements inspired by it. Specific to this year’s theme, there will be country music, a rodeo, Fiesta del Charro, a Frontier Town and a themed exhibit with a saloon, art and history displays about this period of time in America.
As it has for many years, UCCA partnered with the SD County Fair to display Fair banners in our banner district along Governor, Regents and Genesee. This year, kindergarten students from Spreckels Elementary School are featured.
