Overnight and Weekend Rail Work Planned

Rail Service and Construction Notice Courtesy of SANDAG:

Due to planned Absolute Work Windows (AWWs) this weekend, limited COASTER service will be available and all Amtrak Pacific Surfliner service in San Diego will be cancelled. The COASTER will operate on its normal schedule between Oceanside and Solana Beach, but will not service stations further south along the Los Angeles-San Diego-San Luis Obispo (LOSSAN) coastal rail corridor

AWWs are select weekends that allow for crews to meet significant construction milestones and work unimpeded while all rail services are halted. Regular passenger rail service is scheduled to resume in time for the morning commute on Monday. Riders are encouraged to allow for more time, as trains could be delayed in arriving at their final destination.
