The San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program is hosting a free women and families resource fair on March 25th from 8:30 – 12:30PM at the Jacobs Center, located at 404 Euclid Ave, San Diego, CA 92114.
The event provides free services to low-income women and families, including on-site legal advice, job counseling, and medical services ranging from wellness check-ups with Family Health Centers’ Mobile Medical Unit, vaccinations, reproductive health services provided by Planned Parenthood to mental health counseling.
There will be workshops throughout the morning (on self-defense, financial literacy, navigating the new healthcare system, and more) and will have children’s activities (Hullaballo is performing, story time with the San Diego Public Library, and Star Wars characters).
We are also providing backpacks filled with a week’s worth of groceries to families that attend.
