NExT – learn-to-code classes for high school students begin soon

From the office of UCSD Pre-College Programs:

UC San Diego Extension and the San Diego Public Library are offering introductory programming courses in Python, virtual reality and video gaming.

These 10-week courses are aimed at high school students who want to get real, practical skills in cutting-edge technologies.

Participants will receive pre-college credit and set themselves apart from their peers.

All courses in this introductory series are held at the downtown Central San Diego Public Library location.

  • Introduction to Python: Tuesday, January 31 to April 4, 2017, 4:00pm-6:00pm
  • Introduction to Video Game Programming: Saturday, February 4 to April 8, 2017, 12:00pm-2:00pm
  • Introduction to Virtual Reality Programming: Sunday, February 5 to April 9, 2017, 1:00pm-3:00pm
