From SANDAG, Mid-Coast Trolley Construction Update:

rose-canyon-trail-from-alltrailsIn January 2017, construction work will take place along the Rose Canyon Bike Path and within the existing railroad tracks during full weekend work windows. During these weekend work windows, crews will be working 24 hours a day, while a full railroad service closure is in effect.

In order to allow crews to replace and install new storm drain systems, there will be intermittent detours from the interim bike path to the previous bike path configurations.

Access to the bike path is expected to be maintained at all times, and flaggers will be onsite during weekend work to direct cyclists.

Please exercise extra caution and courtesy when using the interim bike path and temporary detours.
