Field Carrier Landing Practice flights (FCLPs) are scheduled all this week into the early evening hours, according to the MCAS Miramar Community Plans & Liaison Office.
Pilots are conducting ‘touch and go’ drills to simulate landing on an aircraft carrier.
Residents who live west and south of the MCAS Miramar air field may see and hear increased flight operations.
