LWSD 31-Day Challenge #7: Get Organized!

Share

From Live Well San Diego:

lwsd-challenge-7Today is a good day to get organized by de-cluttering your home or work space and giving away or recycling extra things you don’t need.

Start by grabbing a cardboard box or plastic bin and go through your closet, garage or desk looking for non-essential items. If it seems overwhelming, just set a timer for 10 minutes and see what you can get done. The important thing is that you just start.

The next step is to take the items you’ve collected in your box and either donate them to your local thrift store, recycle them or, as a last resort, throw them away.

Live Well San Diego Recognized Partners Goodwill Industries of San Diego and Home Start, Inc. operate thrift stores in San Diego County. By donating to thrift stores, you help people in your community get jobs and support programs and services that help others to live well. As a bonus, you will feel good in your newly organized space!
