We feature a great variety of San Diego brews at this event. Check back for the exact lineup. Back by popular demand is home-brew tasting, too! The beer is donated, so all proceeds from the beer garden go straight to our schools.- Dollar A Day VIP
Contributors to EdUCate!’s Dollar-A-Day (DAD) program at a level of $180 or higher will receive VIP status in the beer garden. This includes unlimited beer pours for two people(or wine, or non-alcoholic beverages). A $180 contribution is equal to a-dollar-a-day for every school day.- Food
Visit the Food Vendors – A Portion of the proceeds go to EdUCate! There will be Hot Dogs, Brats, Kettlecorn, Shaved Ice, Pretzels, Bottled Water, and Bake Sale. Food vendors are cash only.- Games and contests
There will be lots of activities including the rock climbing wall, beer stein contest and, best of all, our Principal’s Challenge — where the 5 principals from our U.C. schools compete against each other.- Gigantic Book Sale
New this year, visit our gigantic Book Barn booth.- Trolley
The trolley is back again sponsored by Coldwell Banker UC Agents. The trolley will run the length of Governor Drive and North/South on Genesee to Nobel from 2 pm to 6 pm.- UC School Staff and Alumni
UC Staff receive 10 free tickets for non alcoholic beverages as a thank you for all you do. UC Schools Alumni who wear any school spirit wear will receive 1 free ticket for a game or non-alcoholic beverage.Entertainment Schedule:

Home Brew Contest:
EdUCate! has joined with the award-winning San Diego home-brew club, The Mash Heads, to sponsor the 8th Annual University City Charity BJCP-Sanctioned Home Brew Competition.

- 1st Place will receive a $100 Gift Card from Home Brewing Co.

WHAT IS EDUCATE!? EdUCate! is The University City Foundation for Public Schools, a nonprofit foundation established in 1993 with the goal of providing supplemental funds to all five University City public schools.
