CERT Meeting – Tuesday, May 3 @ 6:00 – 7:30 PM, at the University Community Library, 4155 Governor Drive.

Community Emergency Response Team CERT educates individuals about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills.

Last month we discussed Triage Procedures, Go bags and contents, searching a building or home along with Utility Shut-offs.

In May, we will continue with physical search page R-9, discuss triage in a disaster environment page 8 and earthquakes page 37 of the CERT field operating guide.

For those who don’t have the CERT field operating guide, I will bring copies for the group.
