Genesee Avenue will be closed from La Jolla Village Drive to Nobel Drive from Saturday, April 16 at 10 PM to Monday, April 18 at 5 AM to facilitate Genesee pedestrian bridge demolition.
The Genesee pedestrian bridge across Genesee Avenue near the Westfield UTC Mall is scheduled for demolition.
Related work, including cutting and capping irrigation lines, protecting the main line and control valves/wiring, installing temporary fencing, tree and vegetation removal, and restoration work, will begin Monday, April 11 and is expected to be completed on May 4.
