Recent events such as the November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, France, and the December 2015 terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California remind us all about the need to understand the signs of terrorism and how to report suspicious activities to appropriate officials
The attached “Eight Signs of Terrorism” flyer provides information about specific indicators of terrorism, and gives detailed reporting instructions for suspicious activities.
This flyer was developed by the San Diego Police Department, the San Diego Law Enforcement Coordination Center, the San Diego Joint Terrorism Task Force, and the City’s Office of Homeland Security (OHS), and represents a San Diego region-wide standard.
Additionally, this information conforms to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security If You See Something, Say Something™ campaign.
