The big spring cleanup, inside and out

Share

Submitted by Barbara Gellman and Merle Langston from UCCA’s beautification committee:

spring cleanupSpring cleaning is not just for the inside of your home, it extends to the outside too!

It feels good to rid ourselves of unnecessary items, reorganize and feel accomplished with the results. Step outside your home and really look at it with an objective eye. Ask yourself, how can I make my property look better?

Minor improvements such as weeding, trimming, removing debris, dead trees and shrubs, putting trash cans away, repairing broken fences, removing furniture, storage units and rusted cars/boats would make a big difference.

Grab a shovel, rake, hoe, clippers, hammer, trash bags and a buddy and DIG IN! We hope that working together as neighbors, we can maintain the beauty of University City.
