On Saturday, January 23, the UCUC San Diego Blood Bank Bloodmobile Blood Drive will be at the Sprouts/ Starbucks Marketplace on Governor Drive from 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM.
If you plan on donating, sign up in advance at www.mysdbb.org, which will help the Blood Bank know how many to expect for a smooth running day. Spontaneous Blood Donors and Blood Buddies are always welcome. The best time to come is between 11 AM and 1 PM.
According to final tallies, the Halloween blood drive had 35 donations, the 8/8/15 blood drive received 39 pint donations, on 4/11/15 – 41 pints, on 1/24/15 – 43 pints, and on 11/15/14 – 31 pints. Anything more than 27 for a Bloodmobile is Above Average, so THANK YOU UC!
Also, be sure to eat your beans and greens before you give blood, so you pass the Iron Test. We’ve done really well in that area, too. And what did the Snowman ask the other Snowman?…Do you smell carrots?
