SANDAG app updateThanks to recent updates to the free 511 San Diego mobile application, incident notifications and real-time MTS information can be delivered to iOS and Android devices.

The app was launched by SANDAG in May 2015, in partnership with Caltrans, the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS), the North County Transit District (NCTD), and the cities of San Diego, Escondido, and Poway.

Its features include incident notifications on your favorite routes; maps with current traffic conditions; I-15 FasTrak toll rates; estimated travel times for the I-15 corridor; and real-time MTS updates on bus routes, fares, and arrival times.
