The theme of the November 2015 Newsletter is “Giving Thanks.” Thanks to UCCA members who, through their UCCA membership dues, help fund many events and projects in University City.
- Events such as the 4th of July Celebration, Summer Concerts, Oktoberfest, Holiday Tree lighting, and monthly community meetings.
- Special projects include the recently completed median upgrades in front of Standley Middle School and on Governor near Stresmann.
- Your membership dues also help to fund many public school and recreation center events and Neighborhood Watch.
The November newsletter includes information about UCCA’s election of officers for 2016, a salute to veterans, library program highlights, updates from elected and city officials, the benefits of membership, and a special full color section of holiday recipes. And, check out the back cover for photos from Oktoberfest.
