Sewer Group 798 is set to begin in October. The sewer mains, manholes and laterals will be rehabilitated and repaired on a variety of streets in La Jolla and a couple of streets in University City.
These projects are minimally invasive because they do not require extensive trenching in the street. Burtech Pipeline is the contractor and they have been successfully working in this area for the past year or so on another project so they are familiar with the neighborhood.
The project team sent letters to all affected residents a couple of months ago and door hangers will be distributed about a week prior to the work beginning on a particular street.
