Spreckels participates in Great California ShakeOut

Spreckels Union TribuneSpreckels Elementary School in University City was one of the locations around San Diego County participating in the annual Great California ShakeOut Earthquake Drill.

Each year since 2008, around California, the drill is held at 10:15 AM, on October 15th, and is designed to help those participating, learn about and practice what needs to be done when an earthquake hits. Photography by Howard Lipin/The San Diego Union-Tribune Twitter: @hlipin
