Spreckels kids learn how to Drop, Cover and Hold On

imageStudents at Spreckels Elementary practiced “drop, cover and hold on” during the 2015 Great ShakeOut drill.

Nine school districts in the County are using Be Aware, Be Prepared curriculum created by the County’s Office of Emergency Services to teach kids how to be prepared and protect themselves in the case of natural disasters.
