Sign up today to volunteer at I Love A Clean San Diego’s biggest event of the year, the 31st annual Coastal Cleanup Day, September from 9 AM – 12 PM, at 100 countywide locations. Visit http://www.cleanupday.org/ to see this year’s participating cleanup sites and sign up to volunteer at a site near you.
Last year, over 7,600 volunteers participated in San Diego County, removing a record-breaking 104 tons of debris from local rivers, creeks, canyons, neighborhoods, beaches, and bays. These volunteers also collected valuable data about the type and source of debris found at these 106 locations.
